After returning from the Korean war with an honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Maria Belia Tovar. He retired from the Phoenix City Parks Department. He is preceded in death by his son Mark and wife of over 55 years. He is survived by his wife Virginia Drane and two daughters, Michelle Daye (Tim), Monica Ram(Avi) and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will start at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Greenwood Memory Lawn 2300 West Van Buren Street in Phoenix.
