To know Billy Lucus was to love him. He had that it factor. The walkin and talkin Billy Lucus. Yep, and if you didn't know him and asked him who he was well, he would just have to tell you he was a mighty mighty Knight. To me he was a best friend, through thick and thin.
I will always remember Billy in many ways, like a Kings Knight fighting for good. Like a Trojan Warrior, protecting his home and it's people. And lastly he was the office manager, making sure everybody had what they needed to get the job done right. 
In closing i would like to leave a couple of scriptures that speak to Billy and his full but short life Isaiah 49: 2-4,Psalm 103: 1-5; 127: 3-5.
Billy Lucus was a Father, a Brother, a Friend, and a Confidant to many for many. Rest in peace my Brother.

So many memories. I met Billy 16 years ago when we attended a training course together for the fire departments community assistance program (CR).  Over those next two years we volunteered countless 24 hour shifts together on the CR Van until I was ultimately hired as a firefighter recruit. Our friendship only grew over the years until he became Uncle Billy Blazes to my children who are now adults. One of the most amazing and generous men I have ever known who loved everything friends, family, sports, the PFD,  and training the next generation of firefighters. Love you brother - will miss you forever.

Billy we had so many fun memories from high school and so many more over the past 30 plus years. You always took care of me in high school and I was able to pay that back over all these years of our friendship. Rest In Peace my friend you will be so missed be my brother and me. 

Thank you for being a huge part of my life, and helping me to become the person I am!  Your name will always live on, in my son Lucas, who was names after you!

I miss you and love you Luke!
