

Bradley Wendell Cooper was born on April 13th, 1981, in Provo Utah to James Wendell Cooper and Brenda Kae Jackson. Bradley loved playing games, competing in sports, reading adventure/action novels, watching movies, snowboarding and spending time with his family. He loved a good round of disc golf. Bradley attended grade schools in Texas and Arizona. Bradley started as a Tiger Cub in the BSA and received his Eagle Scout Award when he was 16. Bradley was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when he was eight years old. He was comfortable giving talks in church from his Primary days and recently talked in his home ward.
He graduated from Paradise Valley High School in 1999, participating in football, baseball and wrestling. He also graduated that same year, from a four year early morning seminary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He attended EAU in Thatcher Arizona and NAU in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Bradley met and married Sarah Ames Picard in 2011. They were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple in 2013. They have four children: Ethan Ames(11), Wyatt Edwin(10), Olivia Rose(6) and Savannah Lynn(4).
Bradley loved spending time with his family. Their family enjoyed camping trips, playing in the snow in Flagstaff, Hurricane Harbor days at the waterpark, swimming together and playing at the park. A good game of Monopoly was a family favorite and making pizza with dad.
Bradley will be remembered as a hard worker. He worked at various positions including renovation work with IRCA hotel services. He developed life-long friendships with many of his coworkers.
In a recent conversation with his "Papa," Carl Cooper who said it best… “We love you, Bradley. Always have. Always will.”
Bradley passed away on August 26th, 2023 at his home in Phoenix Arizona, at the age of 42. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ames Picard (Phoenix, AZ); their four children Ethan Ames(11), Wyatt Edwin(10), Olivia Rose(6), and Savannah Lynn(4); Sarah’s mother Sandy Picard; his parents James Wendell and Brenda Kae Cooper (Glendale, AZ); his brothers Jeffrey (Adrienne) of Farmington, NM, and Jeremy (Glendale, AZ); his sister Lynse Kae (Michael) Ashcroft (Surprise, AZ); Grandparents, Carl and Mardine Cooper (Roswell, NM) and Leta Jackson (Heyburn, ID); his nephews Chauncey Jeffrey Cooper (15), Benjamin James Cooper (10), James Henry Ashcroft (8), Thomas Theodore Ashcroft (7), and William Franklin Ashcroft (4); his nieces Lyla Sue Cooper (12). Mallory Adrienne Cooper (8), and Annette Kathryn Cooper (5).
He is preceded in death by: his great grandparents Henry Hughes (Roswell, NM), Adelbert “Bert” and Geneva Jackson (Burley, Idaho), Mark and Faye Cooper (Roswell, NM); his grandfather William “Bill” Duane Jackson, his uncle Carl Edwin Cooper, Jr; his aunt Debbie Jackson and his cousin Kendra Cooper.
A celebration of Bradley’s life will be held on Saturday September 2nd at 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Parkside Building located at 23121 North 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85310. Family prayer will be offered in the Relief Society room at 10:30 AM. No viewing will be held. A Private Interment will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park Cemetery at 200 W Beardsley Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027 at a later date.
