Brenda Kay Gomez

Brenda Kay Gomez, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on Saturday June 8th, 2024 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 68. Brenda was born on July 23rd, 1955 in Chillicothe, OH, the daughter of Robert and Leah Hurley. Since 1959, Brenda has called Arizona home. She spent most of her adult life as a seamstress in the textiles industry.

Brenda loved reading books and watching movies. She had an extensive collection of both.

Brenda will be missed by all her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Leah Hurley, and her brother Paul Hurley. Brenda is survived by her children. Anna Gomez, Bernardo Gomez (Maggie), and Michael Lusardi. Her grandchildren, Freddie, Leticia, Bernard, Ayla, Alyssa, Ava, Alexis and Leah. One great grandchild Miyanita. Her siblings, Bobby Hurley (Stephanie), Davey Hurley (Sharon), Betty Jo Burton (Jim), Timmy Hurley, Susan Hutchinson and Tabatha Hodges (Glen).

Services are being held on June 28th, 2024 at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary at 1pm. Arrangements entrusted to Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
