On 6/28/2021 Brenda Hawkins was called home to our Heavenly Father. She was the eldest daughter of James and Wayver Hawkins. Her birth in a farm house in Missouri is the bedrock of rural American stories. She went to school and graduated in Flint, MI.
She would later marry Randall Brink and travel around the world with him as a military spouse. In the early 1970’s she would have her son Chad. She is survived by her son and two grandchildren, Zachariah and Sierra.
My mother was an artist, seamstress, and a dedicated retail associate for her work life.
She was and always will be a mother, a friend, a guide, an example in faith and forevermore a true child of God. May God's peace be with you all.
