Bruce Lynn Anderson

His childhood years were spent in Huntington. He had two older sisters and two older brothers who were very dear to him. In 1972, he moved to Waldorf, MD, where he graduated from Thomas Stone High School with honors.

He spoke fondly and often of his experience driving through 13 states when he moved to Maryland and when he returned back to Utah and that, in his life, he had visited "22 states and Mexico".

He worked at the Hunter and Huntington Power Plants after returning to Utah and was a member of the Utah Laborer's Union and later, the Carpenter's Union in Arizona when he and his family moved to Phoenix in 1986.

He was an avid sports fan, particularly baseball, and could recite most any baseball statistic, even well into his dementia diagnosis. He loved rock music, fishing, camping, the outdoors, and storytelling, and had a great sense of humor.

He married Julie Heiser (Greenwood) in April 1976, and they had three children together.

Lynn is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah (Anderson) and Will Gardner; his sons, Jesse Anderson and Michael Anderson; his former wife, Julie Greenwood; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Per his request there will be no funeral services. Donations to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund may be made in his honor.
