

Bruce Waller, 89, passed away April 12, 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Rachael Waller, his children David, Charles and Cynthia, as well as many other family members and friends. Born March 25, 1923 in Arkansas, he was the only child of “Shorty” and Delain Waller. Bruce and Rachael met in CA in 1942 and soon married and started their family. He enlisted in the Navy and served in the elite ‘SACO’ unit in China during WWII. By 1957, the family moved to Phoenix where Bruce and his business partner had started Eason & Waller Grinding Company. Eason & Waller won many awards from the aerospace industry including Boeing Supplier of the Year. Bruce was an Arizona Tool and Machine Association founder and was the first honoree for his contribution to the industry. Friends and family will remember Bruce primarily for his love of his family, but also for his enjoyment of flying, house boating on Lake Powell, fishing and hunting. A farmer at heart, he enjoyed his hydroponic garden until the end. Bruce will be missed by all whose lives he touched. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel, 2620 W. Dunlap Ave., Phoenix, AZ from 2:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Please arrive promptly as military honors will begin on time.
