Throughout her life, Burlene held several occupations, including serving as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She also earned an associate's degree, reflecting her commitment to learning and personal growth.
Burlene was a devoted mother whose warm, friendly personality made everyone feel welcome. She had a kind heart, enjoyed connecting with others, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marietta JoAnne Jones.
Burlene was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Smith and Josephine Smith, who welcomed her into heaven.
