Calvin C. Toland was born June 1, 1927 in New Hope, Arkansas. He married Juanita P. Meeks on December 26, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Juanita Toland; father, Ollie David Toland; mother, Florida Jane (Clancy) Toland; brother, Delmar Toland; and sisters, Pauline Banister, Aline Atkinson, Colleen Sharp, Emma Jean Donnell and Deloris Atkinson. He is survived by two brothers, Lavern Toland of Benton, Arkansas and Frank Toland of Gurdon, Arkansas. He is also survived by his daughter, Lita M. Paulson and her husband Joe, both of Garden City, Kansas; and son Dennis R. Toland and his wife Janet, both of Gurdon, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren, Brian Banister, Michael Toland, Paul Banister, Leah Toland, Keith Banister, Heather Toland Croft, and Katelan Toland; and 3 great-grandchildren, Christina Banister, Breanna Croft, and Brooke Croft. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85009, with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m.
