Carol J. DeCosta

Carol was born September 21, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois.

Preceded in death by her mother Ardell Lorenz, father Elmer Lorenz and husband Robert F. Decosta. Her beloved sister Charlotte Kuemmerle joined her in heaven shortly after her passing.

She was the beloved mother of Robert E. DeCosta, Debbie (James) Terry, Charlene Saethre, Terri (Rob) Schwerdtfeger, dear grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 10, great-great-grandmother of 2 and fond sister of Chuck Lorenz.

She was a loyal member and altar guild member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Addison, Illinois. She loved to do ceramics and gave them as gifts. She cherished her friends that she played bunco with for many years. She loved her girlfriends from childhood and met with them regularly. She cared for and loved many children in her home, with the Picchiottino twin girls, Anne Marie & Nicole who became like children of her own.
