Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took Carol home August 1, 2011, after her battle loss with lymphoma cancer. Carol was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on November 16, 1946 and her family moved to Phoenix in 1955. Preceded in death by her father Robert and mother Kathryn Holt, she is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jim, their daughter Michelle Lynn Howe, Carol’s siblings Robert, Barbara, and Steven (Mary) Holt, a brother-in-law, Dave, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is not only a graduate of North Phoenix High School (1965), Phoenix College (1967), and Arizona State University (1969), but was a dedicated employee of Grand Canyon University and also an active member of Bethany Bible Church. Carol loved life, family, and traveling; she thoroughly enjoyed people, and she was addicted to table games and working Sudoku puzzles. Carol‘s memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N. 7th Ave. in Phoenix.
