Carol Van Riper

Carol E. Van Riper was born in Alba, Pennsylvania on December 18, 1921 to Phoebe and Earl McIlwain and passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on April 15, 2015. She was predeceased by her loving husband Charles (Bud). She is survived by her three sons and their families, Russell (Susie), Steve (Patti) and Raymond (Jolene). Carol has 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren., and 6 great great grandchildren.

Carol enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband Bud and other family members. She especially loved family gatherings for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. She could always be found at the party cuddling the newest baby.

A visitation will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., followed by a graveside service where she will join her husband Charles at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona
