Our deepest condolences to the Clark family. We were fortunate enough to live close to the Clarks for many, many years. One of my fondest memories was Carrie and Tom and sometimes grandkids helping set out luminarias in our community on December 24. They were always game to make things beautiful! We will keep them both in our hearts.

It is hard for me to hear of the passing of Carrie. She was a wonderful teacher, mother friend and wife. I will always remember her heart felt advice on life Looking back she was always right on.. She worked hard at keeping retired Madison teachers connected with luncheons at her home . I know she will be be warmly received in Heaven by the close Madison teachers who respected and loved her  But the warmest welcome will be reuniting  with her daughter.. I admired the way she took care of  Tom and her family. I am sure she leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was truly an inspiration to all of her friends and colleagues.

I taught at Madison Simis with Carrie for many wonderful years . She was a true professional , loved and respected by all on our campus .  Her smile and  delightful sense of humor brought delight to all teachers , staff members , students and Madison parents .  She was an amazing educational leader and trusted friend . What a positive and joyful experience she brought to our campus !   We were blessed to have Carrie at Madison Simis  and part of our lives .

I have loved Carrie for 50 years! We met in Madison School District in August of 1975. Carrie managed an Adaptive PE program for my special needs students long before there was an official Adap. PE program. Carrie just intuitively knew and understood how to support the children in achieving their goals. She knew how to break down tasks into baby steps, how to communicate simply and repetitively, and most importantly,  how to reward the children with consistent, loving praise. She worked with them to develop physical movement skills, exercise skills, individual and team sports skills, and games. What a SPECIAL PERSON Carrie was!! She was so dedicated to her family, her work, her friends, and to her faith. I never heard Carrie utter an unkind or critical word about anyone during all the years we shared together... Everyone at school respected and adored her for her work with ALL her students, for her fun-loving and positive personality, for her supportive role as a staff member, and for her generous, kind spirit and behavior. I am so very blessed to have had my close friendship with Carrie for as long as I did. I will cherish that friendship for the rest of my life. May her memory be a blessing in all of our lives!

I asked dad for $20 to go on a date. Mom offered me $40 to stay home.

Baby Colton, she was a beaming Great Grandma!

This was so special, Malcodine had gotten emotional and said she wished her parents were here to see this. Carrie looked right at her and strongly assured her that they’re with her right now, and watching down on her 💙
