sgt ruiz, may the lord have you in the special place that he has for a great person like you. you were always a dedicated soldier and did everything with a smile. since the first day you were assigned to HHC, 112th Signal Battalion, that you came into my office and i told you that would one day  you will be a great nco, that you did and more. we will definitely miss you and may the lord bless you and your family in more ways that we can count.  I will keep you in my prayers.

Catalina you will be sadly missed I will miss our talks and little laughs silently just between us...I wish U were calling me now to just say Hey!!! It was more than a pleasure to get to know you and have you and your kids become like a second family to me. SGT Ruiz you were a great soldier leader and mentor who always placed the needs of your soldiers above your own. You always demanded the best from and for your soldiers. You were cheerful when it was difficult to be cheerful, you pushed on when you wanted to stand still, you were patient when it was difficult to be patient, your passion towards life, humility, sincerity and personal courage will always be remembered.

Catalina you were a great person, friend, mother, sister and daughter who always show concern and compassion for the well being of those around you. You loved and were loved by your friends, family and all those whose life you have touched with the opportunity of knowing you. We will seek comfort in knowing that heaven has another Angel looking down and protecting us from above.

You were taken away from us way to soon but you will never be forgotten.

I did not KNOW much of Catalins , but what I do, she showed me respect when came to visited.

Another American Hero has made the ultimate sacrifice while in service to us and our country.  SGT Ruiz, may God take you into His arms and give you the comfort and peace you attempted to give others.  Rest in Peace, soldier.

Gone too soon, you were a outstanding NCO and an even better mother may you R.I.P. baby girl, I pray everyday that the Lord will wrap his arms around your lil ones and watch over them through any challenges they may encounter....Gone but never forgotten!!

You always had a smile on your face.  You always carried a positive attitude.  There is nothing I can say to express how empty I feel knowing that a creative, sympathetic, positive, and intelligent person like yourself has been taken from us way too early.  I wish you knew how much I admire your service and selflessness.  I am grateful knowing your special energy will live through all of us who were lucky enough to be graced by your presence. She will be deeply and greatly missed. Catalina was such an inspiring Cadet during her tenure at Central HS JROTC, she was loved by many. I was elated to see her walk through my office in uniform and to thank me for giving her the guidance to become successful. She did Color Guard and tried out for my Adventure Team Called "Strykers". She was a loving parent, a Dedicated Soldier and will be missed by all. Good Bye Catalina I will miss you. .

If you only knew how much I loved you like a sister, but I think you did.  I will miss you so much, I already do...it's hard to go from hearing your laugh almost everyday to not hearing it at all...it hurts to know that we can't follow through with all of our plans, I guess God had a plan of his own. You took a piece of my heart when you left.
