What a joy it has been for me to get to know Cecil in the recent past, as I shared much time with he and Jeanne. Cecil was always so attentive, caring and loving to not only Jeanne , but to everyone who entered their home. He was always so proud of who he was , and where he came from., and shared many wonderful stories that brought much laughter, and yes even tears. It was indeed a true pleasure, and an honor to be able to spend time with Cecil.!

Dear Pai Pai,
I never wanted to see this day, the day I had to wake up with out you on this earth. You were always the highlight of the family. You always kept a smile on our faces during every visit, every phone call. You were so accepting of every thing and everyone no matter how different the times got. You are such a strong man, you endured more in your life time, than anyone I know, and you always landed with your feet on the ground. I aspire to be as strong as you Pai Pai. You built a beautiful family, and I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of it. I love you and I will miss you every day.

Cecil was a wonderful man. I will always be grateful to him for the care he took of my mother, Jeanne. After the death of Cecil's wife, and the death of my father, Cecil and Jeanne became an item. He loved to be on the go and took my mom on trips, outings, and to hundreds of lunches. Over time, Cecil became a part of our family and enjoyed our family gatherings. I think he also enjoyed the chaos my family added to his life. After the death of my mother Jeanne, Cecil was not the same. He told me many times he was ready to go to heaven. He enjoyed his life and he was ready to let go of life when it was his time. He will be missed. I am saddened by his death but I am happy he will be re-united with those he loved in this life and with God. God bless you, eternally, Cecil. With love, Dale
