

Charlotte Stephens, resident of Phoenix, AZ, was born April 20th, 1949 and passed away on February 27th, 2010. After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Charlotte passed away peacefully at the Hospice of the Valley’s “Coronado House”. Charlotte was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Illinois and graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1967. She was one of nine children born to the late Burk and Mary Hill and was the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Stephens for 30 years. Charlotte will forever be remembered by her four devoted brothers, Bill, Phillip, Burk and the late, Bud Hill, loving sisters, Twilla Hinton, Violet Newell, Doretta Schemerhorn and Kathy Reeder, beloved children, Christina Roberts, Teresa Sabin, Muneka LoStracco and the late Travis Stephens Sr., treasured grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Robin, Whitney, Hope, Johnny, Sarah, Trisha, Jennifer, Shawn, Erin, Travis Jr. and Danny and fourteen great grandchildren along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Charlotte was a member of North Hills Church where she regularly attended with family and friends. Charlotte also built strong relationships with many of her co-workers while working for Arrowhead Towne Center as an administrative assistant. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, March 4th, 2010 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 719 N 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. followed by funeral services at 11:00 A.M.
