Christine E. Kelly

Christine is survived by her loving husband Michael Kelly, her sons Thomas Kelly, John Kelly and Edward Kelly, her sister Danuta Buzdygan Stys, her son-in-law Eric Nudel and her granddaughters Delaney Rice, Hannah Kelly, Samantha Kelly and Amanda Kelly.

Christine was born on November 19, 1936 to her parents Stanley Buzdygan and Wanda Buzdygan. She lived in Warsaw until 1944 when she was deported to Germany during the Warsaw uprising. Christine emigrated to the United States with her family in January 1950 and settled in Chicago, IL. Christine attended and graduated from the University of Illinois where she studied Mathematics, earning a BS degree in 1960. This is where she would meet her husband, Michael Kelly in 1957. They would eventually marry in May 1963.

In September 1978, the family moved from Illinois to Scottsdale, Arizona where she lived for the remainder of her life. In May 2021, Christine and Michael celebrated 58 years of marriage. Over the years together, she enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, reading, writing, playing tennis, trips to the casino, traveling around the World on cruises and especially family time with her husband, sons and granddaughters.
