My favorite memory of Chris is not a late night at the office, her work ethic or her desire to continue learning but rather her intense love for her children, Matt and Brittany, and her beloved granddaughter, Nanako. She spoke of them all the time and they were her #1 priority. I know she is watching over them. The last time we saw each other she was sharing her excitement about going to San Diego for the first time in her life and experiencing it with Dan. She also spoke often of her sister, Rhonda, whom she loved dearly. I am so glad I had the opportunity in my life to know Chris and share laughs.

I am stunned at the loss of my niece Chris at such a young age. Though we haven't seen each other in many years, I think back to our childhoods, when Chris, Timmy, & Rhonda would visit our home. In recent years, I've followed Chris' progress in her career and education. I was quite proud of her Master's degree and achieving the title of C.P.A.

May you rest in piece, Chris.
