Chuck was born in China on February 21, 1931 to his mother Fung Kam Yee. He worked as a foreman in the health department for the government in Hong Kong before moving to the U.S. in 1980 where he then worked for Motorola, as a Technician Adjuster for 12 years before retiring.
Chuck is forever remembered for his charismatic, hardworking ethics, tenacious love for family and joys in dancing; he was your ideal family man who ensured to provide, made time for simple park ventures with his children, as well as overseas vacations.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother Fung Kam Yee. He is survived by his best friend, and wife of 58 years, Dolores Yee, son Kai Ming Yu and daughter in law Ellen Yu, daughter Kai Chi (Yu) Zailian and son in law Johnny Zailian, son Kai Tong Yu, daughter Kai Sau (Yu) Vielma and son in law Mario Vielma, 10 grandchildren Sylvia (Leung) Yu and grand son in law Simon Yu, Deanna Yu, Nick Yu, Justin Leung, Reuben Vielma, Shenay Yu, Stephanie Vielma, Derek Yu, Gabriel Vielma, Samantha Yu, 5 great grandchildren Isabella Yu, Maylee Yu, Roy Jr. Armenta, Nathan Armenta and Noah Yu.
A celebration of Chuck Yee will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary 719 N 27th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85009. Family viewing starts at 12pm, public viewing at 12:30pm and the service will begin at 1pm.
