Clarence Harold Bollig passed away in his sleep Monday May 22, 2017. He was surrounded by loved ones and even his dog. He is survived by his children Sonny and Kathleen and his grandson Daniel. Clarence's story began in rural Kansas. He grew up with very little and learned early on how to live an honorable life. When he wasn't at school he held several jobs to help provide for his family. He found the open road and began his career as a showman. Through the years he owned and operated nearly every kind of attraction and concession associated with carnival life. Along the way he found his beloved wife Helen. She was his rock that he built a rich life with in Arizona. Through his journeys he helped many people. In many circles he was held in high regard due to his charitable spirit. To countless individuals he was seen as a father figure and mentor. To this day his acts of kindness reverberate through out the country. Though he is gone he will be remembered as a steward of all that is good and honorable.
