Chris had many passions. She would always start the morning out with her ice tea in hand sitting in her garden. Purple flowers were always present in her garden as “purple” was her favorite color. Chris had a special love for all animals, but dolphins had always been her favorite of God’s creatures. When given the opportunity, Chris loved to travel. She could be found just sitting on the beach, watching the sunset on the ocean waves; playing footsie with a hermit crab.
By far, Chris’s biggest passion and joy could be found with the love for her children and grandchildren, who referred to her as “Gammy”.
Chris took pride in her job at Nationwide Insurance. She was well thought of by her co-workers, as well as many new and long-time friends.
A special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Honor Health Hospital for the amazing care they provided.
Chris is survived by her loving father, Gerald O. Gorman, sisters Candy, Jill and Geralynn. Her children Michelle, Jessica, Greg, and Lisa and her grandchildren who adored their Gammy.
It brings the family peace knowing Chris is now reunited after 20 years with the love of her life, her husband, Mike. We will love you to the moon and back. Till we meet again.
God looked around his garden
And found an empty space
Then He looked down upon this earth
And saw your tired face
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest
God’s garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best
It brings us comfort knowing that you and Daddy
will be tending to God’s garden now.
“We love you to the moon and back; infinity, we win.”
