Dana Nelke

She tragically passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 from cancer. She fought the good fight and remained positive until the very end.

Dana was born February 1, 1963 in Los Angeles, California and moved to Arizona in 1973 where she attended school and worked for the family business, Frieda Ross Draperies. She met and married the love of her life, Arthur Nelke, and they enjoyed traveling and going to the movies.

Dana was extremely outgoing and friendly and was loved by anyone she met. She loved to travel, especially anywhere that had a beach and recently took up scuba diving. Dana was adventurous, loved Rock and Roll, spending time with her niece and nephews and was an expert in her Sea Glass business. Her smile lit up the room and will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Karg. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Nelke of Phoenix, Arizona. Her mother, Susan Karg and brothers, Darren and Randy (Sara) Karg, mother-in-law, Phyllis Nelke, sisters-in-law, Carla (John) Roberts and Phyllis (Mario) Sesma and her Nephews and Niece Joshua, Faith & Austin Karg and Michael and Adam Roberts. She was also survived by her beloved Aunt, Karen Appel, whom she was extremely close with.

Services will be held Tuesday July 26th, at 10:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85027
