Daniel A. O'Kane, 89 , died peacefully at home on April 27, 2013. Born in County Derry(Glenullin) ,Northern Ireland on October 18th, 1923, he was the youngest of 10 children born to James and Ellen O'Kane (Roshie). He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary, his sister Helen, his 3 children, James, Mary, and Rose, his grandchildren Daniel, McKenna and Katie, and his greatgranddaughter, Olivia. He also leaves his loyal pal and devoted companion, Barney. Countless nieces, nephews and friends will miss him as well.
A lifetime Pioneer, he retired after many years of service to TWA.
He was a man of his word.
There will be a funeral mass for the repose of his soul on May 3, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church,located at 11001 N. 40th St.,Phoenix,AZ 85028, with a reception immediately following.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers , please donate to his favorite charity, St. Vincent de Paul, or the Humane Society
in his memory.
