I always thought uncle Dave was a pretty mello guy. Liked his cars [chryslers]. He was the only one that bought mopars I think. He liked to watch t.v., eat cheese and crackers and drink beer. Dave and Delores treated us pretty much like one of there own when we moved to Phoenix in the eighties. But of course Dave and my dad were first cousins and Delores and my mom were sisters and thats about as close as you can get to being called one of your own. Dave and his stories will be missed.

His war stories spoke of sacrifice and finding happiness in the worst situation. Thanks for all the lessons grandpa. See you again.

You all are in my thoughts this sorrow  days when we all missed Mr David Lannholm, But  I´m also happy i find the family and take part of wishings from him.

WOW I'M NOT SURE WHERE TO START. ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I HAVE SEEN UNCLE DAVE AND SPENT ANY TIME WITH HIM. I MOSTLY REMEMBER THE TIMES WHEN WE WOULD GO TO THEIR HOUSE IN GALESBURG OR THEY WOULD COME TO MY PARENTS HOUSE IN ONEIDA. I KNOW IT IS HARD TO LOSE A LOVED ONE BUT YOU KNOW HE IS IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE. I WISH I WAS ABLE TO COME OUT AND BE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND SHARE THE GOOD TIMES WITH YOU ALL. I remember Mr. Lanholm from family get-togethers that I was invited to. He and Ron's mother were always there. They were from Galesburg, IL where my mom was born. Sorry for the loss of your dad, Ron. Take good care of yourself. Love from Barbara Zeiger, Glendale, AZ.

It's so hard to say good-bye to someone
so special.  Uncle Dave was a great guy.
The silent type until you got him started then he kept talking and talking.
His sense of humor made me laugh and his love for cars was immense.  He knew every make & model of the older cars.
I will never forget spending time with him on his 90th birthday.  What a great milestone and a grand time.
I will always remember Uncle Dave with 
fond memories.
