David was born February 26, 1954, in Grand Island, Nebraska, to Barbara and Kenneth Pohl. He lived in Nebraska and Tennessee before settling in Arizona in 1975. On February 12, 1977 he married the love of his life, Jamie Sue. They had three sons, Waylon, Justin, and Jason. He worked as a systems analyst at AT&T until 2012.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie; sons, Waylon, Justin, Jason, and daughter-in-law, Lisa and grandson Braylon; mother, Barbara; sister, Kathy (and Kathy’s husband Gene), and brothers, Bob and Donny (and Donny’s wife Patty); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth.
Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Burial will be held shortly after. Relatives and friends are all welcome to attend the service.
