Dean W. Riefkohl, 85, of Peoria passed away with family by her side on Sunday, February 17, 2013. Dean was born in Scottsdale, Arizona October 28, 1927. Dean pursued many hobbies and interests during her lifetime. Her family was always put first in everything she did. Dean enjoyed word searches, puzzles, playing games, taking family trips, sewing , cooking, geneology, and reading. She was a fabulous baker, gardener, caretaker, advisor, housekeeper, businesswoman, bookkeeper, and organizer. She liked watching Wheel of Fortune and Who wants to be a Millionaire. Dean was proceeded in death by her mother , Mattie Paul Conway, Father, William Roy Whinery, daughter, Sherry Donahoo and sister, Alberta Jefferies. Dean will be forever missed by her husband, Jerald, of 50 years, her daughter, Wanda, her 5 grandchildren, her great grandchildren and many friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1pm, at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery 2300 West Van Buren Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85009. In lieu of flowers Dean asked that donations be made to a charity of their choice.
