Born September 18, 1954 in Mattoon, Illinois to James (Jim) and Virginia (Jones) Clark.
She graduated from Mattoon Senior High school in 1972 and attended Judson College, Chicago.
She met her future husband Robert (Bob) Mathis while working at First National Bank in Champaign. Debbie and Bob were married March 12, 1977. (First Baptist Church in Champaign)
She will always be remembered for her determination, strength and vibrant spirit and the love of her family and remembering that her family was her most cherished possession of her loving husband Bob 3 sons James and twins, Andrew and Charles.
She was preceded in death by her son Charlie and her father Jim Clark and her father-in-law Robert Mathis. She is survived by her husband Bob, sons James and Andrew (Stefanie) and sister Marla Wilson and Mother Virginia Clark and mother/in-law Joan Mathis. Step Grandsons Casey - Chad and Bowe.
