The Lord is my Shepherd;

He leadeth me in the paths of

righteousness for His name’s sake.

valley of the shadow of death,

Thou preparest a table before me in

the presence of mine enemies;

Thou anointest my head with oil,

my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall

Delores Jean Barton, age 79 was born on March 5th, 1945 and passed away on October 5th, 2024. With her daughter Tina Marie and grandchildren by her side. Delores was born to Pauline White and Jerome Jackson in St. Louis, Missouri. Delores later moved to Omaha, Nebraska. There she married George Jerry Barton. With this union came two wonderful daughters; Shelly Denise and Tina Marie Barton, who were born in 1964 and 1965.

Delores Jean Barton dedicated her life to Jehovah in 1976. She was then baptized in her loving faith to Jehovah Witness, all the way until her passing. Delores Jean went to Creighton Technical High School in Omaha Nebraska. In 1980, Delores decided to move her family to Phoenix, AZ, where she was employed with Motorola upon her retiring in 2002.

Delores is preceded in death by George Jerry Barton and Shelly Denise. She is survived by Shelley’s children; Cameron Cornelius and Devarrie Williams. Her daughter Tina Marie Barton, and Tina’s children; Jason, Ebonie, Donald. Along with her grandchildren; Camillie, Amailya, Layla, Kayla, Philip, Donald IV, Shelley, Mikhail, Tyree JR and Taylah Barton

A memorial service for Delores will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
