Dennis Herbert Aubele

Dennis H. Aubele, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Hospice of the Valley Sherman Home in Phoenix. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Darlene (Kearney) Aubele, his children John Aubele McQueen, Jennifer Aubele Iverson (Erik), Steven Smith (Margo), and Dianne Lappe (Brian); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was born March 19, 1940 in Ogden, UT, the son of late Herbert and Elda (Prantil) Aubele, raised in Salt Lake City, attended East High School and the University of Utah. He was the youngest sibling, survived by his sister Delores (Aubele) Murray (Bill) of Houston, TX. Dennis served in the U.S. Army, as a Specialist Four E-4 in the UASR. After his discharge, Dennis started his career in the bottling business working for Fisher Brewery, Lucky Lager Brewery, Hunt West and Food, Glass Container, retiring from E.F. Mariani Company of Salt Lake City as Senior Vice President. Dennis touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing that will be held from 10:00am to 10:45am followed by a service at 11:00am at the Paradise Valley LDS Ward, 3601 E. Shea Blvd. Phoenix, AZ. 85028. The burial service will be held following the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the wonderful people who gave such wonderful care to Dennis in his time of need at Hospice of the Valley Sherman Home, 5801 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85054.
