He attended Hopi Elementary, Arcadia High School, and earned an AA from Scottsdale Community College.
Dennis grew up in the sporting goods business and eventually went on to own the Phoenix Shooter's Supply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Toy and survived by his mother, Alice Toy; siblings: Tim Toy and Pamela Toy-Yoshida; niece and nephew: Amber Toy and Luke Toy; brother-in-law, Craig Yoshida; beloved pet nieces: Meiko and Simba.
