Diego Aleman

Diego Aleman passed away on Saturday night, November 8th, due to complications from a chronic blood disorder known as VEDS, first diagnosed in early 2019. Though his life was shaped by illness, Diego refused to let it define him. He remained as creative as he was ambitious, determined to experience all that life had to offer.

From a young age, Diego showed exceptional talent and drive. He began working as an editor in digital fashion before even graduating high school, sparking a deep passion for digital design—a field he pursued with remarkable dedication. Most recently, Diego had begun a new job at a jeweler, where he was learning the meticulous craft of repairing watches. He was excited about the opportunity and proud of mastering a new skill. He was also recently accepted into the Honor Society, a recognition he earned through his hard work, intelligence, and academic commitment.

Diego possessed emotional intelligence and self-awareness far beyond his years. He had a rare ability to perceive his own emotions clearly and to understand the feelings and perspectives of others. His empathy was profound—he made people feel seen, heard, and understood in a way that was uniquely his own.

He was well loved for his positive, outgoing nature, his often dark sense of humor, and his genuine compassion. Diego valued friendship deeply and cherished the adventures he shared with his wide circle of friends. He was equally devoted to his family. His siblings, Marty and Jorge, were among his closest companions, and the moments they shared—on family vacations or in everyday life—were among his greatest joys. Above all, Diego shared an especially deep and meaningful bond with his mother. Their relationship was one of friendship, trust, and unwavering care.

Diego also took great pride in his appearance. He loved dressing sharply and cleanly, always staying true to his own style—a blend of sophistication, authenticity

He leaves behind his parents, Ricardo and Angelina Aleman; his sister, Martha Aleman; his brother, Jorge Aleman; his nephew Richy and niece Evangeline, who grew up alongside him; as well as grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, teachers, and countless friends whose lives he touched. Diego is welcomed in heaven by his eldest brother, Richy Aleman, whose memory he held close throughout his life.

Though his time here was far too short, Diego’s kindness, creativity, and bright spirit left a lasting impact. He loved deeply, sought to understand the world around him, and brought warmth and insight to everyone he encountered. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Diego Aleman falleció la noche del sábado 8 de noviembre debido a complicaciones de un trastorno sanguíneo crónico conocido como VEDS, con el cual fue diagnosticado por primera vez a principios de 2019. Aunque su vida estuvo marcada por la enfermedad, Diego se negó a permitir que lo definiera. Se mantuvo tan creativo como ambicioso, decidido a experimentar todo lo que la vida tenía para ofrecerle.

Desde muy joven, Diego demostró un talento y una determinación excepcionales. Comenzó a trabajar como editor en moda digital antes incluso de graduarse de la preparatoria, lo que despertó una profunda pasión por el diseño digital, un campo que persiguió con notable dedicación. Más recientemente, Diego había comenzado un nuevo trabajo en una joyería, donde estaba aprendiendo el meticuloso oficio de reparar relojes. Estaba entusiasmado con la oportunidad y orgulloso de dominar una nueva habilidad. También fue aceptado recientemente en la Honor Society, un reconocimiento que obtuvo gracias a su esfuerzo, inteligencia y compromiso académico.

Diego poseía una inteligencia emocional y una conciencia personal muy superiores a su edad. Diego valoraba profundamente la amistad y atesoraba las aventuras que compartió con su amplio círculo de amigos. También era profundamente dedicado a su familia. Sus hermanos, Marty y Jorge, estaban entre sus compañeros más cercanos, y los momentos que compartían—ya fuera en vacaciones familiares o en la vida cotidiana—eran de sus mayores alegrías. Por encima de todo, Diego compartía un vínculo especialmente profundo y significativo con su madre. Su relación estaba basada en la amistad, la confianza y un cariño inquebrantable.

Diego también tenía un gran orgullo por su apariencia. Le encantaba vestirse de manera elegante y limpia, siempre fiel a su propio estilo—una mezcla de sofisticación y autenticidad.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Ricardo y Angelina Aleman; su hermana, Martha Aleman; su hermano, Jorge Aleman; su sobrino Richy y su sobrina Evangeline, quienes crecieron a su lado; así como sus abuelos, primos, tías, tíos, maestros y numerosos amigos cuyas vidas tocó. Diego es recibido en el cielo por su hermano mayor, Richy Aleman, cuyo recuerdo llevó siempre en su corazón.

Aunque su tiempo aquí fue demasiado breve, la bondad, creatividad y luz de Diego dejaron un impacto duradero. A Funeral Mass for Diego will be held at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:30 am. The Mass will be followed by a Visitation and Celebration of Life will take place at Advantage Maryvale Chapel, located at 6901 West Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85033, on November 17, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
