Doll set off on a new adventure Aug. 1, 2011. She was born in Los Angeles, Cal. on Dec. 9, 1929, but spent the better part of her life in Phoenix, AZ. She was a wife, mother and explorer. Doll raised four children in a way like no other; packing up the kids, and as she would put it “we would run away from home.” With her husband’s blessing she traveled this state and many others, seeing the sites and teaching her children what it was to appreciate nature and others. Later she rode her motorcycle all over the west and then rode her horse as if she lived during the wild-west. Riding cattle roundups and trail rides. Snow and water skiing and at the age of 79 sky dived. She is survived by four children, daughter-in-law, 2 son-in-laws, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.
