She was big sister to her beloved siblings, Mike and Linda. She developed a strong, steadfast faith in God early in life and was an active church member from a young age, serving in community and church organizations including choirs, youth groups, Sunday schools, vacation bible schools and projects providing for underserved communities including serving Miss Virginia in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
While a member of the Huntertown United Methodist Church, she was a loving mother to her two children, Scott and Laura. She supported them through school, sports and 4-H, and set an excellent example with her authenticity and humanitarianism. She was a working mother whose vocation was teaching art and second grade for over 20 years in Churubusco, Indiana where she was the favorite teacher of many students who kept in touch for years.
When the time came, she bravely embarked on a second career in real estate and eventually real estate education, combining her two interests, while still remaining active as a loving, involved grandmother.
She relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, joining Sunrise United Methodist Church where she was embraced by her church family and eventually married longtime love, Carl Richeson on August 13th 2022, to the delight of everyone.
Donna is survived by her husband Carl, sister Linda Camp, son Scott Pfafman, daughter Laura Church, grandchildren, Nicole, Olivia, Abbey, Kennedy, Jax and great granddaughter Lilia, as well as several cherished extended family members. She is preceded in death by her brother Mike Camp.
A celebration of life will be held at Sunrise United Methodist Church 19234 N 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85027 on March 25th, 2024 at 1:00pm.
