Donna Jean Lockhart Schlink, 56, of Peoria, AZ passed away on June 7, 2016 with her family surrounding her after a brave battle with colon cancer. She was born on January 31, 1960 in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of Esther and John Liles. She graduated from Carl Hayden High School in 1978. On November 1st, 1985, she married the love of her life, Melvin Schlink. Donna enjoyed taking road trips with her husband and spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She was also was well known for her cooking. Survivors include her husband, Melvin; two sons, Larry Schlink and Joshua (Allie) Schlink; two daughters, Melissa (Louis) Schlink and Rachael (John) Maldonado; sisters, Brenda (Dave) Neuburger and Rickie Bremer; grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Joseph, Jordyn, Caden, Thomas and Brian. Preceded in death by her parents, Esther and John Liles; two sisters, Linda Gordon and Terrie Britt; father and mother in law Melvin and Margaret Schlink. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M.
