Donna Mae Walla

Donna Mae Walla, 74, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on March 17, 2026. Born on December 25, 1951, in Montevideo, Donna was the devoted, kind-hearted, and faithful daughter of Johnnie and Ardis (Ost) Borg.

A gentle and beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her, Donna was also hard-working and dedicated in her professional life. She worked as a legal secretary for Beus Gilbert, PLLC., where her steady commitment and care for her work were deeply valued.

Donna married David Paul Walla on April 10, 1973. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother to her daughter, Hannah Stapczynski, and a cherished grandmother to her granddaughter, Oliva Stapczynski. Family was at the center of Donna’s life, and she found her greatest joy in time spent with those she loved.

In quieter moments, Donna enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, a simple pleasure that reflected her thoughtful nature. Whether sharing time with family or enjoying a peaceful afternoon, she carried herself with a gentle grace that will be remembered with gratitude and affection.

A Funeral Service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona, on March 26, 2026, from 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary at 12:00 pm.
