Donna was born in the Bronx, New York, on June 7, 1945. She graduated from Richfield Springs High School and received an AAS for Nursing from Farmingdale Community College. She worked as a nurse in New York and Chicago before settling in Arizona.
She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt who cared deeply about her family. Since retiring from nursing, she spent her days helping those around her in any way she could. Often that included writing encouraging emails, praying for people, and simply talking with them and sharing her views and knowledge on many different subjects. Donna was an extremely compassionate person towards both people and animals. She loved to read and research and learn as much as she could about a variety of things. She also loved to cook, and was very creative in the kitchen! Her Faith in God guided her throughout her life as she yearned to one day hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of the Lord." (Matt 25:21)
Donna was preceded in death by her father Walter Lindgren, and her mother Alice Lindgren. She is survived by her brother Robert Lindgren & wife Lynn, sister Lorraine Lindgren, nieces Heather Klish & wife Eliza, Stacey Lindgren & daughter Kayla, Gayle Lindgren & husband Ron.
