Doris M. Crispin

Born in Harold Kentucky, Doris was the daughter of Pastor Beckham and Fanny Pennington. Doris graduated from Betsy Lane High School in 1952. Shortly after graduation, Doris met Bob Crispin and they were married in June 1956 in Cleveland Ohio. While in Cleveland, Doris worked as a Librarian at Chardon High School. In 1981 Doris and Bob moved to Phoenix Arizona where Doris was employed as an administrative secretary at the State of Arizona, child protective services from which she retired.

Doris was a member of Life Church in Peoria Arizona and a member of the Red Hat Society of Phoenix. Doris and Bob were avid trapshooters and they enjoyed traveling all over the state of Ohio to attend tournaments. Doris also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will always be remembered by her warm personality, smile, and laughter.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Crispin 2009 Phoenix, Arizona and their son Ronald D. Crispin 1992 Phoenix, Arizona. Doris is survived by her daughter, Rhonda L. Crispin of Sagamore Hills, Ohio and her grandson Colin G. Apthorp and his wife Kaitlin of Scottsdale Arizona, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory forever.

Doris will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. A graveside memorial service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, on Monday, October 14th at 2:30pm.
