There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.

Dorothy Moore was born in Little Rock Arkansas on March 5, 1933. She was married 4 times and has 1 daughter - Charlotte, 1 granddaughter - Erin Jones-Medlin, 2 great grandchildren - Kylie, Keates, and Violet. Dorothy, best known to us as the other heart of John Moore, married John January 9, 1981 in Fort Bend, Texas. Dorothy and John were married almost 41 years.
Dorothy was a cosmetologist for 30 years and enjoyed her craft until a car accident made it too difficult to stand. After marrying John they relocated to Oahu, Hawaii where they stayed until John’s final tour of duty ended and he retired from the Navy in 1985. They moved to Arizona from Washington State in 1996.
Dorothy loved people, a good time, the WVCSL and her family including her cats. Dorothy and John donated their bodies to science and their cremated remains will be buried together at sea by the Navy.
