Dorothy Elizabeth Peninger

DOROTHY ELIZABETH (HARRISON) PENINGER passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. Born September 15, 1925 in Bluefield, West Virginia; friends called her Dottie. Mrs. Peninger loved going to second hand stores, watching "Murder She Wrote", and playing guitar. Dottie selflessly cared for her family, always putting others first. Dearly loved by all, she blessed others with her happy, funny and positive personality.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, and survived by her children Michael, Barbara, Richard and Patricia, grandchildren Erica, James and Daniel, and great-grandchild Tobie. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 1:00 pm in the Chapel at First Southern Baptist Church of Phoenix. Please direct flowers, cards and condolences to the church. Donations may be made in Dorothy's name to the American Lung Association.
