Douglas Wayne Turner, Jr. 68, of Phoenix, passed away on June 18. A long-time Valley resident, Doug proudly served our Country in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by his son Lance, daughter Lisa, brothers Michael and Patrick, sister Kathy, grandson Robert and friend Mystic. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9:30 AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary Chapel, 2350 E. Greenway Rd, Phoenix. A committal service with military honors will follow at 11:00 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix
