I met Eddie Mae through a Bible study group led by her husband, Silas Bagby. I had several conversations with her. I was always  impressed by her strong Christian faith. She was a woman who placed all her trust in the Lord. Silas gave my father many Bible lessons at his house. My father's name was Dayton (Jim) Smith and I have the same name.  I feel very fortunate to have known this wonderful couple.  My belated sympathy goes out to their family. Sincerely Jim Smith


It was wonderful to see photos of your beautiful mother on this tribute site. I was honored to be part of her life and yours these past few month, and sorry I couldn't be present with your at her service. She taught me so much and I think of her often. God's peace to you and your family.
