Edith “Babe” (Thiele) Williams passed away on January 5, 2016, in Phoenix, AZ. She was born in Oak Park, IL, on May 29, 1922, and married Glenn Williams in June 1943 in Burlington, WI. Edith relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987, where she enjoyed playing cards with family, jigsaw puzzles, and volunteering at a local hospital. She is survived by her children: Glen Williams and Susan Bonner (Dennis Barrett) of Burns, OR, Pauline Blank of Phoenix, AZ, and Joan (David) Weber of Waterford, WI; five grandchildren Kristine Long and Nicholas (Sherry) Blank of Phoenix, Robert (Beth) Weber, Matthew (Danielle) Weber of Waterford, WI, and August Williams of Bullhead City, AZ; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Private services will be held at a later date.
