Edward Clayton Garrett, age 79, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born April 13, 1935 to the late Clayton Arthur Garrett and Agnes Margaret Jenny Schnakenberg Garrett of Honesdale, PA. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ellen Garrett, son Timothy Garrett, brother William Garrett, sister Ruth Ann Hauth, sister-in-law Phyllis Suomela, two granddaughters, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Services will be held at 9:00 am Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Internment will follow at 11:00 am at the VA National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ.
