OBITUARY

Edward Armando Kingery

October 9, 1964August 28, 2013

Edward A. Kingery, “Eddie”, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, crossed-over into the arms of GOD on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, after a seventeen month battle with brain cancer. Eddie is survived by his loving parents, Air Force Master Sergeant Edward R. Kingery (retired) and Josephine C. Kingery; Sisters Ida, Elizabeth, Patricia and Rosalie Kingery; Brothers John and Robert Kingery; as well as six nieces and five nephews. Eddie leaves behind a legacy of artistic craftsmanship in design and custom finishes, which has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden magazine, as well as on national television. Recently, Eddie directed a project in NYC, where he led a team in rebuilding the “Covenant House”, a shelter for homeless teenagers. Through his passion for helping others, he inspired the lives of many people. He believed in encouraging them to follow their dreams. Eddie possessed a charming wit, which easily allowed people to be drawn to him. Eddie will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. May you continue to shine forever, brother. A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Cemetery, September 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM. I worked with Eddie a number of years ago on the TV show Merge. He was a great friend and for the short time that I knew him, We had some great times! He was always able to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. I think of him often and I can't believe it has been almost 5 years since his passing.

I was a big fan of Eddie on Merge..I Googled searched him to see how life was for him after the show finished. This is truly devastating to see, I hope this sweet soul did not suffer too much. He was such a happy man, and a great idealist for design, and what worked in someone's home. What a handsome man and they say angels are taken when they are young and full of life..Blessings to his family....

I was led to this as I was on the web today. A Youtube video of Ed and then a clip of his obituary. I am in shock of his passing. I am honored that Ed and I shared a special time in our marriage together and even tho it was short lived, he will never be forgotten in my heart. I am sad and torn that his life ended so tragic. My deepest condolences to the Kingery family. Josie, I truly send my sincere sympathy for the loss of your wonderful son and no matter what happened in the past, I loved your son dearly. I wish I had been able to see him before his passing or known of his services. I will continue to pray for God to help you through this difficult time. Heaven is the place he always talked about and now he is with the Lord and with my mom and dad. Sending my Love and Prayers...Louella

Uncle,
The will, determination, and grace you displayed in the face of this terrible disease will forever serve as an inspiration to your beloved family. Your presence, warmth and laughter will be greatly missed but we take solace in the peace we know you've found, and trust that you've wasted no time in finding your next project in our father's kingdom.

We Love You.

"Be strong and courageous, do not be frightened nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you shall go." Joshua 1:6

Sorry that I will miss the ceremony...Eddie read it,heard it, believed it,shared it, lived it, breathed it. God will honor his time here on earth. You will never forget what he stood for. I enjoyed teaching and coaching him back in the day. He has reached his goal, heaven. Doesn't get any better than that. Much love and prayers to the Kingery family. Paul Whitson

Dear Eddie,
When you come to mind, I think of the many projects you would come home and start,I will miss the suprises that i would find at your mom's house whether is was cutting down a bush, changing the garden in the front or finding blue paint down the wall. It was such wonderful memories to me because in the middle of these projects you would have to leave. - but my very best thing you left me with was - asking me for Forgiveness & for Forgiving me. For that my friend/brother I will always be Grateful and very much Thankful. I will Miss you, and We Love you Very much
