Edward A. Kingery, “Eddie”, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, crossed-over into the arms of GOD on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, after a seventeen month battle with brain cancer. Eddie is survived by his loving parents, Air Force Master Sergeant Edward R. Kingery (retired) and Josephine C. Kingery; Sisters Ida, Elizabeth, Patricia and Rosalie Kingery; Brothers John and Robert Kingery; as well as six nieces and five nephews.
Eddie leaves behind a legacy of artistic craftsmanship in design and custom finishes, which has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden magazine, as well as on national television. Recently, Eddie directed a project in NYC, where he led a team in rebuilding the “Covenant House”, a shelter for homeless teenagers.
Through his passion for helping others, he inspired the lives of many people. He believed in encouraging them to follow their dreams. Eddie possessed a charming wit, which easily allowed people to be drawn to him.
Eddie will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. May you continue to shine forever, brother.
A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Cemetery, September 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
