So sad to hear of his passing. Ed was a great neighbor and friend to the Perrin Family. Still picturing him walking down the street to the shop all bow-legged with a big grin. We bought an old pedal bike from him in that yard full of toys of his. He also made our smoker (out of a giant air compressor). We will no doubt be thinking of him when we fire it up in November. Another good ole Arizona boy to be missed dearly!

Ed and my late father, Ed Carson, were best friends since childhood.  His family was always so kind to my father during the depression.  Our entire family loved Ed and will miss him.

I didn't know Eddy for very long, just few short years but it was a quality friendship. I moved away from Arizona last year but hoped to get back and see Eddy again, maybe one more outing at the pistol range. Eddy was a few years older than I am, he taught me many things about this ageing process, one was Don't buy green Bananas.   He is truly missed. Jim Reichwein

Ed was my race car driving instructor in the late 1960's.  Ed encouraged me to volunteer time, as Ed did unselfishly, with our Arizona Region of the Sports Car Club of America.  
It was always a pleasure to be around Ed.  He was friends with so many in the racing world, including those who were his competitors.  
Ed loved his family, more than his race car that he loved a lot. Ed spoke highly of his family and in particular his children.  
I was fortunate to have visited Ed in the care facility on July 10th and as usual Ed was the funny wise cracker.  
The world is better because of Ed.  My life is better because of Ed.

Our thoughts are with  the Luke and Butner Families. Ed was a great neighbor.  Between  irrigation and  great stories, to my son Daniel fixing his computer . Ed will be missed. God bless Ya   Vanessa Jeff Daniel Josh and Andre Berg

To the Luke and Butner families, may the cherised memories of Ed comfort you during this time. Ed, you will be missed. You always opened your home to Nikki and Denny's friends and treated us like family (especially when we were disturbing your household) wink, wink! My favorite funny memory of you was walking outside every month and catching a glimpse of you in your shorts and wading boots waiting for the irrigation. You were a great dad, stepdad, neighbor and friend. Rest in peace!

My thoughts are with all of you.  Ed was a wonderful friend to Del and I and have many wonderful memories.  Chuck Lofton , ED  and Del  adventure with the Smoker  was a highlite.
