Elias Solano Jr.

May 03, 2007 – July 17, 2025

Elias Solano, Jr., beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away tragically in a car accident on July 17, 2025, alongside one of his closest friends, Jatziry Rios Alvarado. He was 18 years old.

Born on May 3, 2007, Elias was the third of four children born to Elias Solano and Maria Solano. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Heatherbrae Elementary School, Acclaim Middle School, and graduated with honors from Metro Tech High School.

Elias was a gifted student, earning a full-ride scholarship to Arizona State University, where he planned to study medical forensics with the dream of becoming a medical examiner. His sharp mind and strong work ethic made it clear he was destined for something extraordinary.

Outside of academics, Elias was known for his bright spirit and bold individuality. He had a unique sense of style—what he and his friends lovingly called “thrifties” or “Goodwill style.” Music was a huge part of his life, and he especially loved going to concerts. Las Marias and Kali Uchis were among his favorite singers. His favorite colors were pink and purple—vibrant and expressive, just like him.

Elias is survived by his loving parents, Elias Solano and Maria Solano; his siblings, Elizabeth Solano, Anahi Citlaly Solano, his younger brother Juan Alberto Solano, Xochil Solano and Maria Evelia Estrada; and many other very close and beloved friends and family; and his cherished pet turtle, who brought him great comfort and joy.

His absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him. He will be remembered for his humor, heart, style, and the light he brought into every space.

Elias Solano Jr. passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 18. He was born on May 3, 2007.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Golden Door, located at 11211 W Michigan Ave, Youngtown, AZ, 85363, on July 31, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 3630 N 71st Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85033, on August 1, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

The Committal Service will take place at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery, 719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85009, on August 1, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
