Elmer E. "Charlie" of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on November 1, 2012. Charlie was born in Troy, MO on November 13, 1935 to Opal and Paul Lester. He is survived by his wife Karen, daughters Sherry (Gene), Deborah (Pete) and his sons Robert and James ( Debra), brothers Paul and Dale, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Charlie retired from the Salt River Project in 1991 and began a second career as a handyman. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, November 9, 2012, at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society , 2929 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85016.
