Vera was born in Chicago, IL on October 14, 1917 and passed on December 26, 2018 at the age of 101. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Butler; her parents, Manuela and Jose Perez; her sisters, Carmen Basquez, Lupe (Johnny) Sanchez, and Henrietta (Bob) Erikson; and her brothers, Joe (Martha), Carlos (Mary), Julian, Ralph (Minnie), and Manuel. Vera is survived by her daughter, JoAnne; her sister, Eva; sisters-in-law, Jennie, and Rachel; and Maggie. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends.
