

His family was the center of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Ernest proudly served 22 years in the U.S. Navy, including 12 years at sea. His service wasn’t just a profession, it shaped who he was. He carried that pride throughout his life, and he will be honored with a Navy Burial at Sea with Military Honors. After retiring from the Navy, Ernest went on to become a dedicated business owner of AZ Tax Store.Those who knew Ernest will remember his generous heart, his boisterous laugh, and his fun-loving sense of humor. He had a gift for making people feel welcomed and valued. He loved sports, golf, and sharing time and stories with his family and grandchildren. He was a devoted friend and mentor to many and someone whose presence filled every room. Ernest will be deeply missed, and his legacy of love, strength, and laughter will live on in all who knew him.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Mary Lomeli; his three daughters, Jennifer, Elena, and Stephanie; and his grandchildren, Jadin, Dominic, Ethan, James Jay and the welcoming of a new grandson in March. .
