Ernest Blaine Sevy

E. Blaine Sevy ,78, of Peoria, AZ., passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Blaine was born on September 17, 1945, in Leamington Spa, England, to the late George W. Sevy and the late Dorothy M. (Butlin) Sevy. He and his mother came to the United States when he was 6 months old, followed later by his father due to military service. He was the oldest of 5 children, which included himself, George Leslie, Leland Everard, Christine Dorothy and Karen Fanella.

He was sealed to his eternal companion Judith (Isham) Sevy on October 15, 1965, and they were married for 58 wonderful years. They had 5 children together, Aaron, Blaina Madsen, Cameron, David and Elecia Horton (Steven), 2 of whom preceded him in death. Blaine also had numerous grandchildren, “adopted children”, nieces and nephews.

Dad loved Airplanes and cowboy movies. He was most passionate about Winnie the Pooh.

Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building located at 12951 N. 83rd Ave. Peoria Arizona 85345 on March 2, 2024.

Viewing will be at 1:00pm. Celebration of life at 2:00pm.

Interment will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona due to his service with the United States Air Force. Monday March 4, 2024 at 2:00pm.
